It's become abundantly clear there’s a new, non-negotiable competency required of every IT leader across the sector: Strategy.
Released on May 12, 2020, TAG is pleased to launch a new series that demystifies the role of strategy for IT leaders. By offering ideas for making strategy more approachable and actionable,The Strategic Role of Technology in Philanthropy series aims to provide insights and anecdotes gained from some of the best minds across the sector, leading to what we hope will become an elevated and inspired role for technology within your own organization.
The first publication in the series is entitled, "Building Your IT Strategy: Aligning Technology With Programmatic Strategy To Achieve Greater Impact" and provides pragmatic methods for developing technology strategy that serves the mission of philanthropy and prioritizes people over tools. Written by former CIO of the Walton Family Foundation, Sam Caplan, the guide features interviews with some of the foremost IT leaders in the philanthropic sector.
