Welcome to the TAG Network

The Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG) is the voice of technology in global philanthropy and you are invited to join our community. By becoming a TAG member, you’ll have access to a network of technology and operations leaders at community, corporate, family, and private grantmaking organizations.

TAG Welcomes Three Types of Members

TAG is the only open membership association for technology professionals working in philanthropy. Your membership provides access to invaluable educational opportunities and knowledge exchange. Details for each type of membership are described below.

How Membership Works

A Focus on Philanthropy

Individuals employed at foundations, public charities, and nonprofits are invited to become members of TAG. Additionally, for-profit organizations with a dedicated focus to technology in philanthropy are invited to join as an “Associate Organization” member.

Organizational Membership

TAG membership is by organization which means that only one dues payment is necessary for your entire organization. The number of members who may join from your organization is unlimited.

Payment is Due Annually

TAG members pay dues annually. The renewal process is initiated in January and members have until March 15 to renew their membership.

 New Members

  • January 1 – August 31: New members will pay the annual membership dues for the calendar year in which they join and will renew their dues the following year by March 15.
  • September 1 – December 31: New members will pay the annual membership dues when they join and will be able to renew the following year.

For example: If your organization joins TAG in August 2024, you will pay dues in 2024 and again in March 2025. If your organization joins TAG on September 2, 2024, you will pay dues in 2024 and not again until 2026.
