TAG Cancels 2020 Conference

All of us are moving through these uncertain times and taking action in new and often unfamiliar ways. In this spirit, TAG has made the decision to cancel our November 2020 conference. Listening deeply to you, our members, we know that you are confronting a variety of challenges that would make it difficult, if not impossible, for us to hold our conference in San Antonio in November. Thanks to the generous support of the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, TAG is able to move our 2020 conference in San Antonio to 2022, allowing us to focus instead on what philanthropy and your nonprofit partners need most right now: rapid innovation, knowledge exchange, and peer support.
TAG’s commitment to promoting the power of technology for the common good feels more important than ever. So, beginning in May, TAG will offer several new ways to serve the social sector and TAG members:
- A briefing on ways you can help: "Call to Funders for Nonprofit Tech Support"
- A series of publications and webinars on "The Strategic Role of IT in Philanthropy"
- A keynote event late in 2020 that reflects on the role of technology during COVID-19 and the need for digital infrastructure in civil society
- Plus, new ways to learn and connect for TAG members including monthly "Ask Me Anything" sessions on Slack, brain dates, and monthly member calls
Looking ahead to 2021, TAG is pleased to announce that we’ll be holding the 2021 Annual Conference in Nashville on November 8-13, 2021 at the Grand Hyatt—so mark your calendars now!
