Creating Effective Project Management

Project management is something that most people will intuitively know that they need but many foundations fall short of how to go about creating an organization-wide Project Management Office (PMO) that is nimble enough to be effective but not so process intensive that it bogs people down in doing their work.

This webinar provides an inside look at how the Foundation For The Carolinas developed a PMO and will cover the following topics:

  1. Developing the project management standards – tools and techniques
  2. Creating a starting point – onboarding projects and PMs
  3. Sustaining an effective PMO

This session is part of a three-part series providing an inside look at IT transformation at Foundation For The Carolinas.

  1. May 28 - Modernizing our IT Strategy
  2. June 11 - Creating Effective Project Management
  3. Aug 20 - Fundamentals of Business Intelligence

  • Vicki Jones - VP, Senior Project Management (Foundation For The Carolinas)
  • Jennifer McClave - AVP, Marketing Operations (Foundation For The Carolinas)
