Seven Leaders in Philanthropy Tech Join TAG’s Board of Directors

Chicago, IL — The Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG) is excited to announce the addition of seven exceptional leaders to its Board of Directors, starting their terms in June 2026. These experienced philanthropy tech leaders bring fresh perspectives to support TAG’s mission to cultivate the strategic, equitable, and innovative use of technology in philanthropy. 

Joining the Board of Directors are: 

Katie Cornell, Director of Finance and Data Strategy, Wallace Foundation 

Thomas Durkin, Associate Vice President, Information Technology, The Boston Foundation  

Connie Kendig, Senior Manager, Pivotal 

Mark Murray, Chief Operating Officer, The Field Foundation of Illinois 

Chigozie Okorie, Director, Business Technology, Annie E. Casey Foundation  

Hesham Tamraz, Director of Operations, Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation 

Henry Toledo, Chief Technology Officer, Kalamazoo Community Foundation 

“We are thrilled to welcome seven exceptional new directors, drawn from the largest and strongest applicant pool in TAG’s history,” says Katie Niemann, TAG Board Secretary and Director of IT and Building Operations at Houston Endowment. “They reflect the breadth of the community that TAG serves and bring the specific expertise needed to advance our mission.” 

Outgoing Board Chair José Aron-Díaz, Director of Global IT Operations at The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, says “Technology will continue to evolve, but our greatest strength has always been our people and our willingness to help one another. I hope the next generation of Board leaders continues to build on that foundation while creating space for new voices, new ideas, and new opportunities for our community to thrive.”
