TAG2023 Conference Attains Record Sellout in 3 Weeks

Aug 28, 2023

Nashville, TN – The Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG) is thrilled to announce that its 2023 conference, themed “Trust and Technology,” has reached a milestone as of Friday, August 25. In just three short weeks, the conference has sold out, underscoring the interest and engagement surrounding this year’s event.

Since the call for sessions opened on April 14, there has been an exceptional response to the evolving role of technology in society, highlighting the importance of ethics, transparency, and trust in adopting emerging technologies such as generative AI. Taking place at the Grand Hyatt Nashville, TAG2023 aims to explore the connections between technology, data, and trust in civil society, while also emphasizing the responsibility of philanthropic organizations to ensure ethical use of data and technology.

From November 6 to 9, leaders, experts, and professionals from various sectors, including private, family, corporate, and community foundations from North America, the UK, and the EU, will come together for networking and knowledge sharing. As in previous years, this private event for foundation staff and product providers will play a key role in shaping the future.

Chantal Forster, TAG’s Executive Director, expressed her excitement about the upcoming gathering of forward-thinking leaders, practitioners, and funders:

“TAG2023 is bringing together a diverse group of minds to discuss the crucial intersection of trust and technology. This conference will be a platform for meaningful–and sometimes challenging–conversations that can drive positive changes for our collective future. As I look ahead to my scheduled departure from TAG at the close of 2023, I am thrilled to see TAG poised for global leadership in shaping the future of tech and data in the charitable sector.”
