Peer Community Pop-Up: Data Retention Policies
April 22, 2026
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Eastern Time
How long should your organization keep data—and when should it be deleted?
As grantmaking organizations collect more information, clear data retention policies are essential for managing risk, protecting privacy, and maintaining useful, high-quality datasets.
TAG members are invited to explore the purpose of data retention policies and discuss how organizations are implementing guidelines that balance compliance, operational needs, and responsible data stewardship. This “Peer Community Pop-Up” will offer an open space to exchange resources, tools, and lessons learned.
