What is Philanthropy Tech?

In a recent podcast with Ctrl+Click Cast, TAG Executive Director Chantal Forster explains how technology serves philanthropic endeavors. In the 45 minute session, Forster describes the current state of #PhilanthropyTech, how it’s evolving to better realize your mission, and how the Technology Affinity Group is adapting to better support the needs of members as well as the sector as a whole.

Listen to the podcast

“We are not about promoting technology for tech’s sake. In fact, I think that’s perhaps where organizations have made mistakes in the past or technologists have made mistakes in the past where we promote a tool over the people that use the tool. Essentially, TAG is about tech for social good. It’s asking the question, how can technology be used strategically for organizations to realize their mission.”

– Chantal Forster, Executive Director, Technology Affinity Group
