The Technology Affinity Group (TAG) will host its 2017 Annual Conference on technology in philanthropy in New Orleans, Louisiana. The conference will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans, Monday, November 6—Thursday, November 9, 2017. We have developed an engaging conference agenda, which will attract individuals from within the philanthropic community. Please visit the TAG 2017 Conference page for more information.

As an exhibitor you will demonstrate your latest technologies, promote initiatives, and develop business relationships. You will gain valuable exposure to attendees in the philanthropic community in the months before, during, and after TAG 2017. The Exhibit Hall will be open for two days (Tuesday and Wednesday).

Vendors/Consultants Attendance Policy

Consultants and vendors who wish to attend the TAG conference must meet one of the following criteria:

  • The organization is a member of TAG
  • The individual is a conference presenter
  • The organization is a conference exhibitor

A maximum of 3 staff from one vendor or consulting organization is permitted. (see Exhibitor Package Fees and Conference Registration). TAG strongly values the contributions made by consultants and vendors at the annual conference and strives to maintain an appropriate balance of foundation staff to consultants/vendors by enforcing this policy.

A Note About TAG's Attendance Policy

The majority of conference attendees represent large private and community foundations. Therefore, exhibitors are being given a unique opportunity to network with conference attendees with specific responsibilities for deploying and managing technology. To maintain a learning community that encourages an open exchange of knowledge and ideas, we ask that ALL participants refrain from soliciting funds or business during the conference, except when you are in the Exhibit Hall.

Exhibitor Package Terms and Conditions

The conference will include the two-day Exhibit Hall, which will be held on November 7th between 10:30 am–5:00 pm and on November 8th between 9:00 am–5:00 pm. The conference officially opens Tuesday morning and the exhibit hours are scheduled during a time when most attendees are on-site.

A 6' x 30" table and two chairs will be provided for each exhibitor. Wireless Internet access and power will be available in the Exhibit Hall, which is located in the Lafayette Foyer on level two, adjacent to the meeting space.

A maximum of 18 relevant and appropriate consultants/vendors and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the conference online registration system at tagtech.org, which opens July 15, 2017.

Exhibitor Package Fees and Conference Registration

Exhibitor Package Fees

  • TAG Member Exhibitor (includes a single conference attendee): $895 (non-refundable)
  • Non-member Exhibitor (includes a single conference attendee): $1,345 (non-refundable)

A maximum of 2 additional staff from each exhibitor organization may register for the following fees:

  • TAG Member before September 30: $595 per staff member (after September 30: $695 per staff member)
  • Non-member before September 30: $795 per staff member (after September 30: $895 per staff member)  

Exhibitor Package Includes

  • One 6' x 30" table with two chairs
  • Exhibitor information in the digital conference guide and mobile app
  • Wireless Internet access
  • Complimentary access to all meals, snacks, beverages plus attendance to Tuesday morning keynote breakfast, plenaries, breakouts and other events.
  • Standard power strip
  • Exhibitor name badge

Exhibit Size

  • Exhibits must fit within the space behind the exhibitors 6' x 30" table and not obstruct
    adjacent exhibitor space or any walkway or door.
  • Large exhibit displays measuring more than 6 feet wide (72") are not allowed.
  • Banner stands measuring more than 36 inches wide are not allowed.

Exhibitor Conference Registration 

Starting July 15th, all potential exhibitors must complete the online registration form at tagtech.org and select Exhibitor — Attending Full Conference (primary) and remit full payment. Exhibitors will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Two additional registrations are permitted by selecting Attendee Full Conference for each attendee.

The Exhibitor Fee does not include lodging. You should reserve your hotel room directly with the hotel as soon as possible, since we have a limited number of rooms reserved for TAG members. To reserve a room, call the Ritz-Carlton Reservation Center at 1-800-826-8987. Please be sure to mention the Technology Affinity Group Room Block and verify the nightly rate of $229/night. You must reserve your room by Friday, October 6, 2017 to be guaranteed the room block rate. TAG conference rooms usually go fast so we recommend booking your room early.

This rate includes wireless Internet access in your hotel room and in the conference area. This rate will be available until October 6, 2017 or until the room block sells out.


• Exhibitor Package (primary) Cancellation Policy

The Exhibitor Package registration fees are not refundable. The primary Exhibitor Package registration may be transferred to another staff member at the same organization. To request a transfer of your registration, please email jeff@tagtech.org with details about your request.  

• Individual Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy (maximum of 2 individual registrations)

Due to financial obligations incurred by TAG, your cancellation request must be received prior to October 6, 2017. Cancellation requests for a maximum of 2 individual registrations will be accepted for the cost of conference attendees’ registration fee less a $50 processing fee. After October 6, 2017, a registration may be transferred to another person in lieu of a refund.
