Join TAG

TAG membership is by organization. Individuals employed at foundations, public charities and COF Affinity Groups are invited to become members of TAG. Click here to review the benefits of TAG membership.

Annual TAG membership dues are for an entire organization's membership. Even if more than one person from an organization participates in TAG, only one dues payment is necessary.

TAG recognizes that technology for-profit vendors bring specific information expertise and knowledge to the membership which enables members to learn more about specific technologies and make better technology decisions. Vendor organizations who provide technology products or services to foundations and public charities shall be eligible to participate as Associate Organizations. Individuals from Associate Organizations are eligible to participate in all TAG activities, however they are not eligible to participate in governance decisions or serve in leadership positions within TAG.

The dues rates for each membership type are listed below. All TAG members pay dues annually at the same time. The dues process is initiated in January and members have until March 15th to renew their membership.
Members joining mid-year will pay the annual membership dues for the calendar year in which they join and then renew their dues by March 15th of the following year. Members who join after September 1st of the year will pay the annual membership dues when they join and their dues will automatic renew the following year. (Example: if you join TAG in April 2015, you will pay full dues in 2015 and 2016; if you join TAG in October 2015, you will pay full dues in 2015 and then not again until 2017).

In March 2009, TAG's Board adopted a Pro Bono Membership Policy. The Policy states that TAG will provide a Pro Bono Membership to organizations who provide TAG with a comparable membership value in exchange for TAG membership or organizations that due to extraordinary circumstances, can not afford the TAG membership fee, and whose staff provide exemplary service and value to TAG. Pro Bono Memberships will be reviewed and awarded annually at the discretion of the TAG Board on a case-by-case basis. In addition, a TAG member organization in good standing at TAG may sponsor another TAG member organization. If your organization is interested in applying for the Pro Bono Membership, please contact Lisa Pool at
