NPower Announces Foundation Grant Manager Spring 2011 Release.

The NPower FGM team is pleased to announce the Foundation Grant Manager Spring 2011 Release. The release will be launched onFriday, April 8th, 2011 at 11:30 PM Easternand will include updates to the FGM Managed Packages (in and the FGM Web Portal. The upgrade and will not disrupt your access to The Web Portal will NOT be accessible from 11:30 pm - 3:30 am Eastern.

Highlights of the FGM Spring 2011 Release include:

  • Multi-Select Picklist Support on the Portal
  • Record Type Support for Portal Labels and Help Text
  • Modifications to Contact Role Lookup Security on the Portal
  • Enhancements to the 501c3 Verification (IRS Pub 78 Support)
  • Modifications to Portal Navigation to Support Related Lists
  • Infrastructure Upgrades to Enhance Reliability

We would like to thank the FGM community for your diligent and constructive feedback and suggestions. It has been instrumental to the development of many of the features in this release.

The enclosed document will provide you with an overview of the new functionality and changes in this release. Modifications to the FGM documentation will follow the release. In addition, we will be demonstrating all of the functionality in awebinar on Thursday, March 31st, 2011 from 12PM to 1PM Eastern Time. We strongly encourage you to review the attached release notes and attend our release webinar. You will receive an email invite from Danielle Galiano for the March 31st webinar. If you are unable to attend the webinar, it will be recorded and available for viewing later.

During the webinar we will also review our planning for the FGM Summer 2011 Release. The FGM Summer 2011 Release will target user interface improvements on the FGM Portal. We encourage you to talk to a member of our staff and log your issues in the Ideas section of the Support Portal so we may consider them in planning our next release.
